Update from Chris G. at Container Conversions – December 7, 2017:
Progress on the Kitchen/office/toilet unit – we have cut the window openings, most of the doors and we are fitting the window frames. Work at this stage is fairly slow as we have had massive rains over the past few days with the forecast of another week of wet weather. The last image is at my house last night when I got home – to give you some indication of the rainfall.
The two containers for the double wide classroom unit will be delivered to us tomorrow or Monday with the delays being at the container depot, their forklifts were stuck in mud etc. We do however have them under pressure to get the containers to us soonest. Some of our team members have changed their leave dates to accommodate getting work done on these units before the year end shut down.
I have provisionally booked trucks for the 12th of January and we are working hard to meet that expectation and hope that the weather does not play a significant role.
Further update, same day:
First of the double wide classroom containers just came in through the gate 2 min ago.
